SAATOG is the South African Association of Trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, a non-profit
organization for registrars, fellows, medical officers and junior consultants in O&G.
SAATOG offers trainees representation to the South African College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and is affiliated with SASOG, WATOG and the South African Registrars Association.
SAATOG’s aims are to promote and develop training opportunities in women’s health in South Africa. As such we organize training and research events, offer access to conference and research grants.

Research funding will be dependent on available
funds and allocations will favour registrar’s projects.
Funds may be used for expenses such as running costs, laboratory, staff, editing or author’s fees, but capital equipment cannot be funded.
